GoTrustID announces the first and immediately available USB/NFC Security Key for FIDO plus PKI

No middleware or APP required in computers or mobile devices.

Irvine, California, August 21, 2020 – Today, GoTrustID Inc (GoTrust) announced that the immediate availability of the Idem Key Plus which is a combination Security Key that supports both FIDO2 and PKI. The key is FIDO2 certified and the security element is FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certified. It is assembled in a USB Type A form factor with NFC functionality for devices that do not have a USB port. No installation of middleware or APP to work across Windows, Mac, iPhone and Android is required as the Idem Key Plus has patent pending design to bridge FIDO 2 and PKI communication inside the Key. The PKI web applications use the FIDO WebAuth API to execute Idem Key Plus PKI functions in computers and mobiles. It works with latest browsers including Edge, Firefox, Chrome and Safari in Windows 10, macOS, Android or iPhone using the USB and/or NFC interface. Of course, GoTrustID is still providing PKCS#11 middleware for legacy systems in Windows and Mac using the Idem Key Plus SDK.
